Level Playing Fields

Basketball is king in Indiana. Whether it is the Pacers, the Indiana University Hoosiers, or the Milan Miracle,
we love our basketball. Indiana is home to 15 of the 16 largest high school gymnasiums. These gyms all exceed
7,000 seats, with the largest, New Castle Fieldhouse, seating 9,325 spectators in a town with a total population of 18,000.

As artfully depicted in the movie "Hoosiers," entire towns live and sometimes die with the fortunes of these
high school basketball teams.
