Make Me a Match

“Matchmaker, matchmaker, make me a match.” The famous verse from Fiddler on the Roof was performed by women looking for compatible husbands. But it applies to school boards, too, as they search for compatible superintendents.
The matchmaker in Fiddler did her research. With a complete background check and credentials in place, she observed the village’s single members with the aim of making a blessed match. She, of course, hoped that chemistry would permanently seal the couple to each other.
